EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
1.
To prepare the students for a successful engineering
career by giving them mathematics, science and
engineering knowledge which they can apply to
manufacturing engineering problems.
2.
To
provide the students with necessary theoretical and
practical knowledge of standards and constraints which
will enable them to design a manufacturing system,
process and the necessary components. Also implant in
the student awareness of environment, efficiency and
social considerations.
3.
Enable
the students to formulate, model, analyze and solve
manufacturing engineering problems by using modern
engineering tools. Enable them to design and conduct
experiments, analyze, interpret data and present results.
4.
Enable
the students to function in multidisciplinary teams and
be prepared to take leadership. Enable the students to
gain oral and written communication skills, be aware of
the ethical responsibilities of their profession and the
worldwide effects of their actions.
5.
Enable
the students to understand the importance of post
graduate education and life long learning.
